Ingredients

6 thick slices bacon, chopped

½ cup onions, minced

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

1 cup water, or as needed

⅛ teaspoon salt

1 pinch ground black pepper

Directions

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat; cook until fat begins to render. Stir in onion and garlic; cook and stir for 1 minute.
