Ingredients

1 bunch fresh asparagus spears, trimmed

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and ground black pepper to taste

ΒΌ cup herbed goat cheese, crumbled

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Arrange asparagus spears side-by-side on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Crumble goat cheese over top.

Roast in the preheated oven until cheese is slightly melted and asparagus is tender yet firm to the bite, about 10 minutes.

Recipe Tip

This recipe is quite versatile. Gorgonzola, blue cheese, and shaved Parmesan cheese are all good substitutes.
