3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup butter, softened

2 cups brown sugar

6 tablespoons white sugar

2 eggs

4 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
