1/4 cup red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons minced shallots

1/2 teaspoon freshly-cracked black pepper

1 pinch sea salt (optional)

Directions

In a small bowl, combine red wine vinegar and minced shallot; stir in black pepper and salt.

Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop. Top each oyster with about 1/2 teaspoon sauce immediately before serving.
