1 ½ tablespoons salted butter

⅓ cup brown sugar

¼ cup white sugar

¼ cup prepared yellow mustard

1 large egg

¼ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

¾ cup cider vinegar

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat; remove from heat.

Whisk together brown sugar, white sugar, mustard, egg, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Whisk in vinegar until well combined. Stir mixture into melted butter in the saucepan.

Stir sauce over medium heat until boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes more.
