2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup white sugar

¾ cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 cups butterscotch chips, divided

1 ½ cups quick-cooking rolled oats

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.

Mash butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until smooth; beat in eggs until creamy mixture formed. Gradually beat in flour mixture, 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips, and rolled oats.

Press dough into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup butterscotch chips.

Bake in the preheated oven until top is golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool in pan before cutting into 24 bars.
