¾ cup white sugar

¼ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

¾ cup canned pumpkin

¼ cup water

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

¾ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease and flour muffin pan or use paper liners.

Whisk sugar, oil, and eggs together in a medium bowl. Stir in pumpkin and water until well blended.
