1 tablespoon olive oil, or more if needed
½ onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic

½ cup ketchup
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mustard

Stir Mexican-style hot tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cider vinegar, and chili powder into the beef mixture.
Cook on Low for 2 hours (or on High for 1 hour).

Cook's Notes:
Butter your sandwich rolls and sprinkle garlic salt onto the butter; toast under broiler until just crispy. Assemble sandwiches and be thankful you're alive for this moment.
